Opened to the public in 1992, the Emil Buehler Naval Aviation Library at the National Museum of Naval Aviation possesses books, periodicals, photographs, technical manuals, and personal papers relating to the history of naval aviation.

The facility is open to the public from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Monday Through Friday, and written requests for information are welcome. A photograph, video, and technical manual duplication service is also available.
