In addition to the aircraft collections, exhibits within the Museum focus on an array of themes that capture events and people that have impacted the history of Naval Aviation - the lighter-than-air era of giant airships, the dioramas that transport visitors beneath the waters of Lake Michigan to visit underwater aircraft wrecks.  Other exhibits allow visitors to stroll Main Street on the World War II home front, or prepare for a combat trip over the trenches of the Western Front during World War I.
